a.k.a Beta Reading and Copy Editing Services
A combination of The Paced Package & The Sprint Package. For when you've self-edited your manuscript and then for when your manuscript has been through at least one editing pass later on. So what's included?
The Beta Reading Part: A beta read of your manuscript, including a read through with 'live' reactions left as comments, an overview of my opinions on Plot, Character, World Building, Dialogue, Pacing, and Writing Style, access to two 30 minute 'Spitballing' sessions if requested, and any additional beta reading needs you may have. The Copy Editing Part: A copy edit of your manuscript, including suggestions of how to fix mechanical issues such as punctuation, grammar, capitalisation, repetition, consistency, chapter misnumbering and formatting, using Track Changes in Microsoft Word, an overview of the suggestions made and why, highlighting any large readability issues such as plot holes or jarring text, and providing a style sheet of all editorial decisions made on your manuscript, including any unique preferences you may have. A combination of The Paced Package & The Max Package. For when you've self-edited your manuscript and then for when your manuscript has all its story in place but your sentences need sprucing. And what do you get?

The Line Editing Part: A line edit of your manuscript, where readability will be analysed, focusing on issues such as show vs tell, passive voice, use of lyrical tools, flow, clarity, tense, and mood, with suggestions being made through Track Change in Microsoft Word. Your writing voice will always be considered but the line edit will be done with future readers in mind and how easy your manuscript is to read.
